Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics
The Department of Mathematics at Tbilisi State University presents the 2nd edition of Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics, by Roland Tkebuchava.
The former colleagues and friends will remember the late Professor Roland Tkebuchava, Doctor of Science in Physics and Mathematics, and recall his professional achievements and personal qualities. The work has been published first time over a decade ago but still remains one of the major coursebooks for Georgian students.
The second edition will be available free of charge for the book presentation attendees.
The following flow agreed:
- Introduction by Professor Omar Purtukhia (PhD in Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics, Head of Department of Mathematics at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University)
- Presentation by Professor Mindia Surguladze (Doctor of Mathematics, Academician, Head of Vladimir Andreevich Melnikov Laboratory of the Russian Academy of Science)
- Presentations by colleagues, friends, and family members
- Dinner at TerraWine
